Triton Square
A new development of open space just north west of Warren Street tube station. Prominently hard materials with a very open central space. Trees and a lawns reflect and balance the middle space from the north and south. This place i find more fascinating when it gets dark. The elevated trees in this risen bed are a bold feature, dominating the space. Personally i feel they are too seperate to the public space below, they may provide pleasant greenery throughout most of the year but i am drawn towards features within a space that you can be amongst, touch and be around. These trees are on a seperate horizontal level.
