This was the final Montage i created to represent the Air Tubes in the space.

Charrette Week Project :
We were set a week's project with 12 different sites to choose from. The sites are part of the Lea Valley Wasteland which runs through East Central London.
working in a group of 3 we chose 'site 12' - a site directly opposite the Millenium Dome (02 Arena).
The main goal of this project was to produce a professional looking A1 presentation board to present the idea. We decided to utilise the fact that the site has a distinct relationship with the 02 Arena. Something that we found fascinating is the fact that concert halls contain so much energy, there is a high level of sound and movement contained within a building.

Using our site to express the levels of sound and energy within the 02 arena we decided on using 'Air Dancers' (tubes of light synthetic material with a large fan connected at the bottom making the tube dance around like crazy). Filling our site with these and spotlights on the tubes to express silently the movement of energy within a concert opposite.

As a breaker in our Kings Cross Major project we took a week to Barcelona.
The city is beautiful, with a strong grid system which i wasnt sure i was going to enjoy. However after exploring for 5 days it became a pleasure to roam around. Barcelona held the Olympics in 1992 and for this the city created lots of innovative new public spaces.

In the evening the sunlight reflects off of the Dance Centre glass facade illuminating the landscape, its a really pleasing sight.

As part of our Parklife/Streetlife module we are studying methods of landscape construction and how design is implemented into the physical.
We visited the landscape at the Laban Dance Centre which has very geometrical shapes with some steep banks. In order to measure the angles and volumes of the landforms we measured each length width and height of the forms.
